What this covers

This policy covers the public marketing pages at getdempsey.com and text and SMS messaging for Dempsey check-ins once a client is enrolled. Trainers use Dempsey. Clients receive those texts after they opt in.

Information we process

The marketing pages are static. They do not include an account form, a payment form, or an analytics script. The site does not collect phone numbers for SMS. Vercel, which hosts getdempsey.com, may keep ordinary server logs — for example IP address, browser type, and the page requested — to deliver and protect the site.

If you book a fit call, your browser opens Cal.com. Information you submit there is collected by Cal.com under its own privacy policy. The person hosting the call can see the details you enter so the conversation can take place.

For enrolled clients, Dempsey may process a mobile number, message content and check-in answers, timestamps, delivery metadata, and the coaching context needed to run check-ins. That information is shared with the client’s trainer as part of the service.

Why we use it

We use this information to deliver and protect the site, to schedule fit calls, to run check-ins, to support trainers, and to keep the service reliable and safe.

Text / SMS messaging

Text and SMS messages — Dempsey check-ins and related coaching messages from Dempsey and/or the trainer using Dempsey — are sent only after a person opts in. A typical way to opt in is to agree when a trainer enrolls them, and to provide a mobile number and consent for those messages.

Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying something unrelated on this marketing site.

Message and data rates may apply. How often messages arrive varies with the check-in flow.

Reply STOP anytime to opt out of SMS and text messages. Opt-out is honored, and outbound texts stop. Reply HELP for help. Reply PAUSE to pause messages for about 7 days.

Once someone is enrolled, these texts are part of the product experience. They are not marketing messages from this static homepage.

Sharing

We share check-in information with the client’s trainer so the trainer can coach. We use companies that host the site (Vercel), schedule calls (Cal.com), and deliver text messages. They process information only as needed to operate the service. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep information while the trainer or client relationship is active, and afterward for as long as we need it to run the service, keep it secure, or meet a legal obligation. When we no longer need it, we delete it or de-identify it.

Your requests

You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. Book a 15-min fit call, or visit getdempsey.com, and say what you are asking for.

To stop text and SMS messages, reply STOP. This site does not run a marketing email list. If we send an email that includes an unsubscribe link, you can use that link to opt out of those emails.

Children

The site is written for trainers. It is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete it.

Cookies

The marketing pages do not set their own advertising or analytics cookies. If you open the Cal.com booking page, Cal.com may set cookies under its own policy.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we do not guarantee absolute security.

Where we operate

Dempsey is offered from the United States and is aimed at people in the United States. If you use the site from somewhere else, information may be processed in the United States.

Changes

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the effective date below and post the current version at getdempsey.com.
